Why this blog exists
Here's the quick rundown:
My name is Christian. I have been married to my wife, Hannah, for five years, and am a father to two little kids, Karis and Zion. They alone keep my life busy and full. But outside of those two roles, I'm a pastor. My life is primarily spent trying to help people follow Jesus, and I love that.
This blog is an extension of what I believe God has called me to do, which is to teach the Bible. A phrase that marks my personal experience of discipleship and the way I try to disciple others in following Jesus is the reality that, "the gospel leaves no area of our lives untouched." It's too often that both, those who call themselves Christians and those that don't, hold the belief that the Christian life is simply a Sunday affair.
In short, my aim is to show that shouldn't be the case by humbly sharing my thoughts, reflections, and teachings from a gospel perspective. Whether you are a friend, family member, or a curious stranger, I hope to show how the gospel can be applied and lived out in every area of your life the way Jesus intended it to be.
I believe Jesus is the hope of the world and we were created to know him and give him glory as King over all.
"...that in everything he might be preeminent" - Colossians 1:18
